Marumali Program® At Work

Building understanding changing the way we work

Explore transformative programs designed and delivered to foster healing and resilience through culturally grounded, trauma informed practices.

The Marumali Program® At Work

The Marumali Program® At Work supports people and organisations to understand the impacts of the Stolen Generations, trauma and intergenerational trauma, and how this understanding can strengthen the way First Nations people are supported.

Programs are available for First Nations and non-First Nations participants, with learning designed around different roles, experiences and responsibilities.

All programs are grounded in the Marumali Journey of Healing Model and Aunty Lorraine Peeters’ lived experience and knowledge.

Where we work

The Marumali Program® can be delivered across government, non-government, justice and corrections, health, education, community services and other settings that work with or alongside First Nations people.

Strengthening Knowledge. Building Capability. Supporting Healing.

The Marumali Program® At Work builds the knowledge, understanding and capability of people and organisations working with and alongside First Nations people, families and communities.

Through evidence-based, culturally grounded and trauma-informed learning, participants develop a deeper understanding of colonisation, the Stolen Generations, trauma, intergenerational impacts and the importance of culture, identity and reconnection in healing.

Grounded in the Marumali Journey of Healing Model — a Survivor-led and developed model created from Aunty Lorraine Peeters’ lived experience — our programs support participants to reflect on their roles, strengthen culturally safe practice and contribute to environments that support healing, resilience, identity and wellbeing.

Programs are designed for First Nations and non-First Nations participants, with learning tailored to their different roles, experiences, responsibilities and contexts.
